Obama Blonde's 'Yes We Can' Updates

Hi everybody-just wanted to share some updates with you on how my little song, 'Yes We Can' is doing out there in the great big world...

Recently, the Oak Park newspaper, The Wednesday Journal, did a nice article about me and the song. You can read it at www.wednesdayjournalonline.com.
The article is in the 'Lifelines' section and is called 'Yes She Can!'

The videos have been showing up in the following websites:
www.spike.com. They are affiliated with Spike TV.
www.ureport.com. This site is run by Fox News.
www.chicagolive.com. This site is run by the Chicago Truibune.
www.dailykos.com This is a blog I found online. The guy who writes it has been collecting videos of all the songs written and performed by Obama suppoters, and there sure are alot! He put The J's 'Yes We Can' into his favorite video section-yea!

I just want to thank all of you who have checked out the video/s and have sent the www.youtube.com/haff66 link along to your friends. I also want to thank all those websites and media outlets mentioned above. I appreciate all the help you've given me...cuz I really need it! :) Peace out for now.

Obama Blonde's First Blog!

Hi everybody-I'm Obama Blonde and I am starting this blog to try and reach out to the world with a new folk rock anthem I have written for Barack Obama. It's called 'Yes We Can' and you can see videos for it at www.youtube.com.
Just type in my real name, Jeannine Haffner, Obama Blonde, or 'Yes We Can by The J's' and the videos should come right up.
I need your help getting my little song out to the whole world. After I wrote it, I saw that there is already a very popluar video for a song of the same name out there. I am just an unknown singer from Oak Park, Il and it sure isn't easy to get noticed. If you like the song, I would appreciate it so much if you would tell all your friends about it and send them to You Tube to check it out. My dream is to sing this song at the Democratic National Convention or the Inaugurarion. Can we make this happen? Yes We Can! haha...but seriously, I hope you check out the song and videos and I'd love to know what you think of them. Thanks alot! Jeannine
